Peridinium


Description

A round to polygon shaped cell with one apical horn and two antapical horns. The body is armoured and covered in thecal plates. It has two obvious grooves: the sulcus (vertical) and the cingulum (horizontal).

The species is also known as a Peridinium.

Life-form: Solitary
