This page is designed to allow free and easy
access to Phytoplankton Colour index and Calanus
finmarchicus monthly mean data. All data have been
calculated using the Continuous Plankton Recorder
standard areas. As shown in the maps below. If the
maps do not appear you will need to install Flash
Player 5 or later. By clicking on the standard
areas you will be able to download a comma
delimited file containing, year, month, monthly
mean and the number of samples taken in that area
during that month.
Please Note: Calanus finmarchicus was not
counted at species level prior to 1958.
