Research Interests:

Use of molecular genetic methods to resolve questions in plankton ecology using CPR samples. A NERC funded study involving the analysis of DNA sequence variation to identify echinoderm larvae and a Royal Society project that uses genetic variations among samples to help determine the population structure of the open-ocean plankton.
